Case study - 03: Ryerson University Student Learning Centre, Canada

The Ryerson University Student Learning Centre is located along the Yonge Street, it marks Ryerson’s new face on Yonge Street. It feature with the retails at the lower grade of the building to create a prominent commercial facade toward the busy street. The building will contribute to the retail and pedestrian life in the area and set the tone for ongoing revitalization in this historic commercial neighbourhood. The inviting elevated entry plaza was gently draw both students and the general public into this new vertical community setting. 

Case study - 02: Dockland Library, Melbourne

The quality of physical internal environment in library is one of the major issue have been discussed nowadays in order to optimize the learning environment and attract more users to use the services. As according to McCade & Kennedy (2003) says, a library building must be attractive and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Functional and effectiveness by using architecture planning and design features in the library building is important as well.

Federal Square is Melbourne’s civic center and cultural precinct. Located across busy railway station, is the main gathering area for Melbourne residents. Contains a mixture of leading-edge cinemas, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars, events and festivals.
